Kameyosek, which means "the beautiful" in Cree, lies near the heart of the MillWoods area. A mix of single-family and multi-unit dwellings clustered around the central schoolsite, the area is served by a small commercial plaza, the Mill Woods campus of GrantMacEwan College and two high schools. Nearly 75 percent of the population is younger than 40.
