U of A Speaker Series: Sharon Morsink

Sharon is an associate professor in the Department of Physics at the University of Alberta, where she teaches physics and astronomy courses. She is also involved with astronomy outreach in the Edmonton area and helps run the University of Alberta's observatory on the roof of the CCIS building. She conducts research on neutron stars, tiny stars that can spin 600 times each second.

Sharon has been a member of the University of Alberta Speakers' Bureau since July 2015 and is pleased to present on the topic, "Black Holes: Do they really exist?"
