What is Nerd Nite? The typical format is three presenters giving 20 minute fun-yet-informative presentations on a variety of (somewhat nerdy) topics - while the audience enjoys the fun with a drink in hand. They like to say, it's like Discovery Channel with beer!
Wade Kelly (B.Ed '04, MEd '12), is the co-founder of Nerd Nite in Edmonton and the success of the first year of this great evening event has prompted us to organize a specific field trip for our Education alumni with our very own Nerd Nite for Educators.
When: Thursday, May 22nd, 2014, Doors Open at 6:30 pm
What: Faculty of Education Pre-Show Reception (7:00 - 8:00 pm)
Followed by Nerd Nite Show Event (8:00 pm)
Where: Reception (appetizers & cash bar)
